about

hello world!

educator/ nature nerd
/ outdoor explorer

Lovely to meet you! I’m Nathalie - a teacher living in beautiful Bellingen, NSW on Gumbaynggirr country in Australia.

With a Bachelor of Socio-Legal Studies and a Masters of Teaching, I draw on over a decade in education, teaching children of all backgrounds and needs, with the first-hand insight into the deeply powerful role of nature connection in instilling a love of learning and holistic wellbeing. Throughout my time in education I’ve worn many hats - supporting students with Additional Needs, teaching English overseas, as an Environmental Educator, Primary School teacher and National Parks Discovery Ranger.

I’m passionate about sustainability, wellbeing and kindness, and believe that these all come together as we care for ourselves, others and the Earth. Through education and exploration we can cultivate the next generation of curious, resilient, and environmentally conscious humans who care for the ecosystems around them.

I myself continue to be a passionate student and spent many nomadic years exploring the far corners of the world to soak up as much as I could. With all of the generosity of the kind souls I have met, I’m inspired to share my ideas and skills with others, so that together we can grow a brighter future.

the grow wild philosophy

"In the end we will conserve only what we love, we will love only what we understand, and we will understand only what we are taught." - Baba Dioum

My dream is to foster a deep and life-long connection between children and nature. I hope to inspire our young explorers with a sense of curiosity and resilience as kind, caring and brave custodians of this planet.

Through engaging and meaningful outdoor experiences, we instill a sense of wonder and understanding, building a foundation for genuine respect for the Earth and its inhabitants.

  • I lived in a beautiful vintage Fiat Ducato named Daisy as I meandered from corner to corner of Europe.
